TESTINGS (1968)

The double exposures in this series were created during test shots for my first fashion portfolio. The camera didn’t advance the film properly. I liked these images right away. To enhance their texture, I hatched them with a pencil. Even back then, I appreciated flawed negatives and prints—as creative material from which to make something new.
